[01]What it is
A real mail client, agentic first
Unified IMAP/SMTP inboxes for humans — plus an analyzed flag and a single authenticated MCP/REST door so agents can triage without trampling your read state.
Open source · hosted SaaS · no free trial
aMail is an agentic multi-inbox mail client. It holds every account in one place and gives agents one authenticated connection to all of them. Self-host the open-source app for free forever — or let us run your own container at name.amail.stream, encrypted with keys we never store.
hostedOne-click Google & Apple— attach mailboxes under one paid account. We can’t read your mail.Hosted has no free trial. Self-host is $0, MIT, forever.
Every inbox. One desk.
Human unread and agent analyzed are separate flags. An agent asks for is:unanalyzed, does the work, marks it analyzed. Nothing is handled twice; nothing you have not read gets silently “read”.

[02]How you run it
Clone it, Docker it, keep it. MIT, free forever if you self-host. Prefer not to operate it? We run your own container at name.amail.stream — same code, our box.
[03]What it refuses
Remote content stays blocked until you ask. Hosted mail is encrypted with keys we never store — we can’t read your mail. We log errors, not you. Agents mark work analyzed so the same thread is not handled twice.

Watch
Placeholder for a short hosted walkthrough. The site ships without a video file so deploys do not wait on an asset.
Reserve your subdomain
Type a name. We check availability before any signup. If it’s free, leave an email — verify it to lock the name. At checkout you activate a reserved name or pick a new one.
Demo store (this browser). Live lock needs the API + mail secrets — see README.
Main account → sub-emails
One paid main account, many sub-emails underneath. Hosted prefers one-click Google and Apple OAuth to link a mailbox; self-host still uses app passwords / IMAP. Threading, compose, attachments, shortcuts — a mail client, not a chatbot with an inbox glued on.

Desktop
A desktop plugin for aMail: bar badges for unread and not-analyzed, a triage panel, and client/server modes. Same product, closer to the metal.
